Current Officers and Members
President
Brandon Koch
Brandon is the current President of the Staff and Circle chapter. He is a senior Human Physiology student with a Chemistry minor. Brandon is a research assistant in a Biochemistry research lab that focuses on DNA replication and repair. He is a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He enjoys traveling, hiking, sports, and anything outdoors. Mortar Board has enabled Brandon to expand on his leadership skills and to give back to the University of Iowa community.
Secretary
Dena Baughman
Dena currently serves as Secretary of Mortar Board. She studies Human Physiology on the Pre-Med track, and she also has a Spanish minor. She will graduate in May of 2016 and hopes to attend medical school in the future. Dena spends her free time volunteering at the Hope Lodge and Ronald McDonald House and working in a Diabetes Research lab.

Katelyn Wheeldon
Katelyn is a senior in the Tippie College of Business majoring in Finance and Accounting with a Certificate in International Business with an emphasis on Brazil and the Portuguese language. She is involved in many organizations, including Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Alpha Xi Delta, Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Organization, Computer Comfort, and Hawkinson Institute of Business Finance. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, running, trying new foods from different cultures, and cooking.

Andrew Metzger
Andrew graduated with a BS in Applied Physics in May 2014 from the U of I and is now pursuing a MS in Biomedical Engineering. He is developing novel methods of image processing and pulse sequencing for magnetic resonance images. He is also an active member of the Graduate Student Senate and volunteers with the Crisis Center of Johnson County.
